Sarah Renee Ricke Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sarah Renee (McCray) Ricke, 42 of Medicine Lodge, KS died Sunday, January 16, 2022 in Medicine Lodge. She was born on July 10, 1979 in Wichita, KS, the daughter of Marvin Lynn McCray and Joy Lavonne (Barton) McCray of Medicine Lodge, KS. She graduated from Medicine Lodge High School in 1997. On February 2, 2011, she married Eric Lee Ricke. He survives. She previously worked at Pizza Hut, PrimeTime, Casey's, Taco Tico for 8 years and most recently at Red Dirt Jack's until having to take medical leave. She was a very dedicated worker, enjoyed helping her customers and had a great rapport with them and missed them terribly when she had to take leave. She loved her children and family so much and would fight tooth and nail to protect them. She loved her dog, Ace Boogie, he was her best friend. She was a very loyal friend and loved people and little kids. She was a very loving daughter and aunt. Surviving in addition to her husband, Eric Ricke of Medicine Lodge, KS are her parents, Lynn and Lavonne McCray of Medicine Lodge, KS; two daughters, Sierra (Ryan) McDonald and Jasmine Ricke, of Medicine Lodge, KS; one brother, Joshua (Rebecca) McCray of Pratt, KS; one niece, Kaylee McCray of Pratt, KS; and paternal grandmother, Fern Goodenough of Carl Junction, MO. She is proceeded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joy and Harlin "Sam" Barton and paternal grandparents, Bob and Jackie McCray and George Goodenough. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge, KS with Pastor Tom Walters officiating. Burial will be in Isabel Cemetery, Isabel, KS. Memorials may be made to Quarters for Canines, in care of Larrison Funeral Home, 120 East Lincoln, Medicine Lodge.
