Rick Nevin Bright Pratt, KS – Rick Nevin Bright, 68, passed away February 24, 2016 at Victoria Falls Skilled Nursing Facility in Andover, Kansas. Rick was born June 8, 1947 to Thomas W. and WillaBea (Martin) Bright in Pratt, KS. Rick graduated from Pratt High School, then played football at Pratt Junior College and Southwestern University. He worked on a farm in Ft. Lupton, CO, then moved to Denver, CO where he was a custodian, then moved to Pratt where he worked for the City of Pratt until his retirement. Rick was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Pratt. He is survived by three brothers, Ronald Bright of Pratt, Gaylyn (JoLynn) Bright of Park City, KS, Kevin (Laura) Bright of Pratt, four nieces and nephew, Essa (Ryan) Beckenholdt, Amanda Dye, Phillip Leonard and Jasmine Bright, four great nieces and nephews, Angel, Larissa, Ike and CJ, and a host of aunts, uncle, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Thomas. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt, KS. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Second Baptist Church in Pratt with Perry Johnson presiding. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt, KS.
