Paul F. Hayse Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Paul F. Hayse, 92, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan. He was born on December 22, 1929 in Greensburg to Nathan Berkley and Alma (Blackstone) Hayse. Paul married Lois (Fitzsimmons) Hayse in 1949. She preceded him in death on October 3, 1991. He then married Calora June (Williams) Hayse on December 28, 1979 in Pratt. She preceded him in death on June 16, 2020. Paul graduated from Greensburg High School. He owned M-C Company in Pratt for 42 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, American Legion and Pratt Elks Lodge. He enjoyed working, gardening, building a kit car, visiting with people, walking, volunteering at Pratt Regional Medical Center and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He served as Mayor of Pratt. He was on the city commission and served on the Board of Trustees at Pratt Community College. He is survived by his son, Michael Hayse of Pratt; daughter, Christine (Randy) Peterson of Manhattan; granddaughters, Leslie (Joshua) Neilson and Megan (Jeremy) Niederwerder all of Manhattan; great-grandchildren, Harper and Hudson Niederwerder, Addilyn, Parker and Lily Neilson; step-daughters, Lynn (Terry) Morris of Newton and Christa Williams of Wichita; and step-grandchildren, A.J., Tyler and Joshua Williams and Abree (Kendall) Abendroth. Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Calora June Hayse; parents; brothers, Lewie Hayse, Nathan Hayse, Jr. and Carl Hayse; sisters, Ella Hayse, Myra Smith and Mary Jo Tournade; and first wife, Lois Hayse. Friends may sign the book Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2022 at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt with Tom Harrison presiding. Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg. Memorials may be made to Pratt Health Foundation or Pratt Area Humane Society in care of Larrison Mortuary.
