Mikeal L. Cunningham

Mikeal Lynn Cunningham, 67, of Medicine Lodge, KS, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 1, 1952 in Nashville, KS, the son of Merle Cunningham and Agnes (Krannawitter) Cunningham. On February 5, 1972, he married Sandra “Sandy” (Mease) Cunningham at St. Leo, KS. She survives. Mike was a graduate of Cunningham High School. He worked in the oil fields, at National Gypsum and was a carpenter. Mike was a drummer and a member of several bands. He was a member of Community Bible Fellowship, Medicine Lodge, KS. Surviving in addition to his wife, Sandy Cunningham of Medicine Lodge, KS are one son, Jason Cunningham of Anthony, KS; one daughter, Jamie (Brandon) Phipps of Medicine Lodge, KS; Five grandchildren, Liam, Aiden, and Maycie Cunningham and Eve and Talon Phipps; mother-in-law, Peggy Mease of Nashville, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Melvin Cunningham and a nephew, Trey Meairs. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Community Bible Fellowship, Medicine Lodge, KS with Pastor Dwain Richert officiating. Burial will be in Maude Cemetery, Cunningham, KS. Memorials may be made to the Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital or Community Bible Fellowship in care of the funeral home.
