Lila Lorene Koftan

Lila L. Koftan, 77, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Kansas Medical Center in Andover, KS. She was born December 5, 1936 at Wellington, Kansas the daughter of Carl & Ollie V. (Moore) Marshall. On February 26, 1956 she married James E. Koftan at Moline, KS. He survives. Lila was a member of the First Christian Church in Dodge City, KS. She had been secretary at the Junction City National Bank in Junction City, KS and Walnut Products of St. Joseph, MO. She retired as a computer assistant from Boeing in Wichita, KS in 1990 after working there for 15 years. She spent her retirement traveling and enjoying her grandkids activities. She is survived by her husband, James, a daughter, Lori (Kent) Binford of Haviland, KS, three grandchildren, Ashley (Luke) Salmans, Audra Binford, Ross Binford, two great grandchildren, Liam and Adah Salmans, and a brother, Kenneth (Saditha) Marshall of Topeka, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Maxine Burdett. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt, KS 67124. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Haviland Friends Church in Haviland, KS. Burial will be in Haviland Cemetery in Haviland, KS. Memorials may be made to the Haviland Friends Church or American Cancer Society in care of the mortuary.
