Pratt, KS Everett J. Carmin, 81, died Monday, March 10, 2014 at Pratt Regional Medical Center in Pratt, Kansas. He was born July 12, 1932 in Russell County, KS, the son of Evert and Ruby (Shannon) Carmin. He was a Production Superintendent in the Oilfield Industry. On May 15, 1956 he married Shirley Cadelia Parks at Clayton, New Mexico. She preceded him in death on May 30, 2004. He is survived by sons Larry, Pearland, TX; and Mike (Misty), Cushing, OK; his daughters, Linda (Bob) Collins, Cement, OK; Glenda (Mike) Kinsey, Arlington, KS; Patricia (David) Dunsworth, Pratt, KS; Teresa Bennett, Pratt,KS; Sonya Allen, Dodge City, KS; his brothers, Charles, Ellinwood, KS; Ken and James both of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Connie Shrock, and Joyce Culver, both of Hutchinson, KS; and Carol Sayre, Brookfield, MO; 18 Grandchildren, 40 Great-Grandchildren, and two Great-Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son Robert, brothers, Robert, Gary, Dean, Larry, and Mark, and a sister Louise Kennedy, a granddaughter Carrie, two grandsons, Bobby, and Joshua, and a Great-Granddaughter Amanda. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Larrison Mortuary 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt, KS 67124 Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 14, 2014 at Larrison Mortuary with Pastor Mike McGovney officiating. Burial will be in the Stafford Cemetery, Stafford, KS. Memorials may be made to the St. Francis Burn Unit or Pratt Reginal Medical Center in care of the mortuary.
