Dorothy May (Lightner) Lee, 84, formerly of Turon, KS died Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Baylor Medical Center, Irving, TX. She was born on April 7, 1930 in Elkhart, KS the daughter of Charles H. Lightner and Ruth Woodley (Erwin) Lightner. Dorothy was a 1949 graduate of Turon High School. Surviving are two sons, James Steven Hershberger who is married to Peggy Hershberger of Midland, TX and John Charles Hershberger of Farmers Branch, TX; three grandchildren, James Steven Hershberger, Jr., Michelle Ann Hershberger and Cary D Lynn Harris. Dorothy was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Lynn Donahue; one son, Charles Rodney Hershberger; one grandson, Mark Christopher Hershberger; one brother, Roger Wayne Lightner; one sister, Joyce Marion Soper.Graveside services will be on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Turon Cemetery, Turon, KS with Pastor Mike McGovney officiating. Memorials may be made to the Turon Senior Center in care of Larrison Funeral Home, Turon, KS.
