Donald Merle Launchbaugh, 94, passed away May 27, 2020. He was born May 16, 1926 in Mankato, KS. to James Merle Launchbaugh and Ruby (Cripe) Launchbaugh . Donald married Ellen Dolores (Dee) Windhorst August 17, 1950 at Concordia, Kansas. They were married for 68 years. She passed away July 30, 2018. Donald was in the United States Navy from 1944 to 1946 and served in the Pacific theater. Donald and Dee moved to Pratt in 2011 from Norton, KS where he was the manager of the lumber yard there. He liked to fish. He is survived by son, Jon (Pam) Launchbaugh of Pratt, KS; and grandson Carson, Pratt. Donald is preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother Dean and sister-in-law Carol. Family inurnment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Mankato, Kansas Memorials may be made to Pratt Rehabilitation and Residence Center in Pratt, KS or Mount Hope Cemetery, Mankato, Kansas in care of Larrison Mortuary, Ltd..
