Turon, KS Bobbie Jean Sprout, 73, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at South Wind Hospice Home in Pratt, Kansas. She was born July 14, 1938 in Artemus, KY, the daughter of George and Vivian (Miles) Turner. She was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith, was an avid gardener, who loved to hunt and fish. On May 24, 1980 she married Lanny Sprout at Kingville, TX. He survives. Other survivors include 5 sons Glenn Trett, Williamsburg, KY; Darrell (Debbie) Trett, Arnold (Jill) Trett, and Jeff Trett, all of Corbin, KY; Robert (Kim) Partin, Pratt, KS; a daughter Linda (Garry) Wilson, Corbin, KY; two sisters Bertha Welch, Turon, KS; and Loudilla Clark, South Carolina; 10 Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Rex Turner, and a sister Helen Gibbs. Visitation will be from 1:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2012 at Larrison Funeral Home 400 N. Martin, Turon, KS 67583. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Larrison Funeral Home, Turon, KS. Burial will be Turon Cemetery, Turon, KS.
