Tony L Zimmerman

Tony L. Zimmerman Tony Lee Zimmerman, age 53 of Pratt, KS passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 surrounded by family. He was born on June 26, 1959 in Hutchinson, KS the son of Lorie (Grogan) Zimmerman of Borger TX and the late Jimmy Lee Zimmerman. On October 17, 1979, he married the love of his life Priscilla (Cavanaugh) Zimmerman in Hugoton, KS. She survives. Tony trained dogs professionally for 15 years in addition to his guide work for Pheasant Farms, Inc. A large part of Tony’s life was spent outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working with animals. He always found time to share with others the wealth of knowledge he had acquired over his lifetime. Above all else, he loved the time spent with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife, Priscilla and his mother Lorie are his children, Tabitha Rincon and husband Bernabe of Dodge City, KS, Leslie Black and her husband Kyle, Tyler Zimmerman and wife Jenna, and Amanda Zimmerman, all of Pratt, KS; four grandchildren, Caleb Osborn, Courtney Osborn, Noah Black and Joseph Black; three sisters, Shelly French of Hugoton, KS, Shawnna Shuck of Liberal, KS, and Jamie Spurgin of Borger, TX; two half-brothers, Micky Zimmerman of Manhattan, KS and Nicky Zimmerman of Liberal, KS. Friends may sign the register book on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt, KS 67124. The casket will remain closed. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church, Pratt, KS with Pastor Bob Fleener officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt, KS. Memorials may be made to South Wind Hospice or the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in care of the mortuary.
